Always looking after new ways and methods of expression, the works of Miguel Becerril always create nevertheless atemporal environments where the action of Nature upon matter can clearly perceived, on one hand, and the trascendent relationship of Mankind with Nature, on the other. In a way, as one title of his works says, they are Inner worlds.

Very seldom uses Miguel rulers or other drawing instruments, not even he prepares a sketch where to develop the final work from. He lets the work develop by itself, nursing it in its process and evolution, and completing it with the interventions needed to achieve the final result. In this respect, each work is a unique piece, both the product of Natural laws and a specific state of mind. The imperfection of the freehand method is a basic element in his works, to which it delivers power, honesty and warmness hardly reachable otherwise.

Miguel also has an interest for pencil drawing and photography, but he is mainly focused on watercolours, acrylics and ink.

Miguel does not sell original works, but high-quality prints, any size, on satin canvas, photo paper or other media, with indeed spectacular results.
